Restoration and Development of Infrastructure in Ukraine: Grant Support from CMSR

25/07/24

IISTEL 3000, together with Slovenian company Kontron, is actively working to attract grant assistance from the Centre for International Cooperation and Development of the Republic of Slovenia (CMSR) to implement infrastructure projects in Ukraine. This is a crucial step, especially in the context of a full-scale invasion, where critical infrastructure is being destroyed daily by enemy shelling and requires prompt restoration.

CMSR is an independent non-profit research and advisory organization that operates in the field of international economic relations and development. The Government of Slovenia, together with CMSR, co-finances development projects in partner countries in the form of donations or interest rate subsidies. To receive grant funds, partner countries must submit their restoration projects to CMSR. Selected projects will have the opportunity for co-financing thanks to the support of the Republic of Slovenia. The percentage covered by grant funds depends on the project's cost and the level of priority in the development field.

Currently, ISTEL 3000, together with Kontron, is focused on attracting such grant assistance from the Government of Slovenia and the Centre for International Cooperation and Development for the reconstruction of critical infrastructure in Ukraine, particularly telecommunications equipment. The restoration of this infrastructure is extremely important to ensure stable communication, which is a key element for the functioning of any country, especially in wartime conditions.

Sincerely,

The ISTEL 3000 Team!
